ABOUT
THE ARTIST
Being born and raised in the country made it possible for my
brothers, sisters, and me to constantly be with our Grandparents.
We couldn't wait till school was out. We dashed in the house,
changed our clothes, and then we were on our bikes to the
farmhouse, which is where I live today.
I can honestly say I don't think I ever loved anyone like I loved
my Grandmother. She was a special kind of person; I think
everyone loved my Gram. Being with her every day, I admired her
ability, the way she worked, enjoyed life with her 10 gardens,
and always made other people feel good about themselves. Through
the years I would try to grasp onto every word she would say,
hoping one day that I could say that I learned all the good I
know in my life from this special person.
The one phrase my Grandmother used more then anything else....was,
"Never put off until tomorrow, what you can do today".
I'm proud to say that not a day goes by that I don't remind
myself of my Grandmother's words.
Though my love for music, songwriting, and recording is much
deeper rooted in my heart than anything else I do in my life, I
do love to paint. At my store, "Created-By-U" there are
thousands of unfinished pieces to choose from. I pour
approximately 15,000 molds, and the shelves are constantly
stocked. I take great pride in my painting; Angels and Indians
are my favorite. As you clink into my "Country Store",
the finished pieces that you see are all painted by me. Never
does a finished piece leave my hands until it is signed, so rest
assure that the piece you are ordering is finished to the very
best of my ability.
I try very hard to "Never put off until tomorrow, what I can
do today". I enjoy each and every day of my life and in my
heart, thank my Grandmother for that. So either through a song
that I write or a piece that I paint, I always feel that I've
accomplished something very special. I hope with all my heart
you'll enjoy looking through my pages and come back often as we
post more finished pieces to choose from.
